THE FIRM
Powell Dudley Frith Architects, founded by Bo Powell in 1987, grew out of a goal to approach the Architectural Design Profession as a “collaborative team” of highly experienced professionals rather than conform to the standards of the “tiered architectural design office”.  The firm brings together more than 60 years of combined experience in the fields of Commercial and Residential Development, Architecture and Interior Design. The Team Members bring to the firm a vast array of project types and architectural styles, enabling the firm the ability to provide maximum design potential for any given project.

THE PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy begins with a commitment to Architectural Design quality and client service.  We do not specialize in a particular “Design Style” or “Architectural Vocabulary”. Our designs encompass a variety of styles from period presentation to contemporary design that are uniquely determined by the client’s project goals.  We understand that the quality of a project revolves around our client’s needs, wants, and wishes, and their ultimate satisfaction.  To achieve the ultimate solutions to our client’s objectives we must first fully understand the dynamics of the given design challenge.  These dynamics include not only the “design program” but also include the project’s schedule, budget, agency and community relationships, neighboring properties and long range project goals.  The successful out-come of each project is the basis for our future as design professionals.
